So here we are in May 2007. Tas is hard at her Uni studies and I am running around like a hedless chicken. She is currenlty on prac at a school called Parkhurst. Unlike the Parkhurst in SA, this area is run down and one of the poorer areas of Rocky. Needless to say that some of the kids are problem childeren from a difficult home life.
My boss has just resigned wich means that between the senior members in Qld we have had to up our responsibilities. Planting on Greenlake has been a little slow with the property going under water. This has resulted in the place looking a bit like Kakadoo national park with all the magpie geese, spoonbills, swans, pelicans and other birds now frequenting the area.

Kaylin and Ethan are growing up fast (As is Ollie the Collie). They are very excited about Nian and Oupas visit in October, (As are Tas and I). Everything that they do at the moment is for Nian and Oupa. Collecting rocks throught to every piece of "artwork". In preparation for their visit, I have been looking for a 4X4 that would suit the family and fit us all in. Luck would be on our side again and my Bosses old Prado went up for sale. I offered to buy it for the same value as the dealer and the offer was accepted. Needless to say, we struck a good buy as the dealer was trying to rip the company off. (Pics to follow).

Watched the final of the Sharks and the Bulls. What a nailbiter. Sorry for your loss Grant!!! (and other Sharks Supporters)

Well, that is about all for now. A feew photos of the wetland and the kids. Please could eveyone send us an email as we have lost your email addresses due to reloading the computer.
Love you all and miss you lots.

As it is very hard to recall all lthat has gone on in our lives between the blogs, we will give you the highlights.

( Left, Zoe, Kaylin, Tas, Ethan, Chris, 5 rocks lookout, Bottom, Looking back along 9 mile beach)
Easter was one of them. We went to 9 Mile beach a mate that I work with and had a great time. Although I was unfortunate not to land "that big one", my mate did. A team effort, especially on the side of the Mare family was called for. Pierre put the bait on and cast in, Tas and Kaylin one after the other pulled in some nice witing. (Small baitfish). Chris (mate we went with) used this for bait, cast in and Hey!!!! that was one nice sea salmon. Had that for dinner the next evening.
9 Mile beach is about 30 minutes drive from where we live. You camp on the beach and have to take your own "facilities" with you, including water. Needless to say that the ladies looked forward to a good shower when they got back. We spoent 4 days on the beach, mainly fishing and lazing about. The weather was not great and the water was rather choppy. Thank goodness the easter bunny remembered to come past and he spoilt the kids rotten. I think we are still eating easter eggs at the moment.
